As we continued our quest to find the perfect beach in Lombok, we got on our scooters and headed east to Tanjung Aan Beach. It was fantastic. I couldn't decide if I preferred Mawun or Tanjung Aan. They are both pretty spectacular. While the water was clear and perfect for swimming, there was also an abandoned building nearby and if you've been following the blog for awhile, you probably already know that I love beauty and decay. We spent the day brother/sister bonding with little crowds on the beach which made for a serene day.
Also, as you can tell from below, we also made some friends on the beach.
